M/s Naveen Metal Industries was established
as a Partnership Firm in the year 1974 for
manufacturing Spring Lock Washers. Spring Washers have an
universal application and is used as
a locking device to counter-act the effects
of vibrations. In the initial stages, the firm
catered to various sector like
Automobile, Railways, Electricity Boards
, Heavy Machinery etc. However, from
1978 onwards it decided to concentrate mainly
on the Power sector in view of the massive
Government Investments in the new Power
projects . Since then we are supplying Spring Washers
to most of the Electricity Boards in
India and nearly all the top transmission tower
manufacturers like KEC, EMC, JYOTI STRUCTURES, KPTL &
RPG TRANSMISSION.
We were one
of the first firms to get the approval from
NTPC for supply of Spring Washers for their 400 kv transmission
line projects. Our Spring Washers have also been used in the
first ever 500 kv HVDC transmission line
and are now being used in the 800
kv transmission line project being executed by
POWERGRID. In addition, our Spring Washers are
also being exported to countries like
Australia, Spain, Malaysia,
Ceylon, Thailand, Philippines,
Indonesia, Bangladesh and Nepal. Various inspecting organizations like,
PGCIL, NTPC, ITENG, LLOYDS have regularly conducted tests at
our works and are fully satisfied with our quality.
Our customers are aware
that we are a single product company and
our Spring Washers meet their most stringent quality
requirements. However, most of them are in
the process of adopting ISO - 9001 / 9002
standards. One of the requirements of the
standards is that the vendor shall establish and
implement a quality management system and ensure that such quality
systems are effective and acceptable to the customer.
We are
currently in the process of adopting
the ISO - 9002 requirements.
